Rory Scovel is an American comedian, writer, and actor. He is the son of Teresa and Donald Scovel. He is married to actress Jordan Scovel, with whom he has a daughter.
Rory’s paternal grandfather was Connard Joseph Scovel (the son of Donald E. Scovel and Arla Bryan Rawlings). Connard was born in Iowa. Donald was the son of Joseph Conrad Scovel and Hannah/Anna Martha Hanawalt. Arla was the daughter of John Tamblyn Rawlings, whose parents were Cornish, and of Retta Polen.
Rory’s paternal grandmother was Joyce D. Bruce (the daughter of Leonard Nelson Bruce and Ida Luella Klopp). Joyce was born in Iowa. Leonard was the son of Swedish parents, Nelson C. Bruce and Mary Jane Mollett. Ida was the daughter of Stephen H. Klopp and Mary Luella Stockburger.
